The project went ahead in 2009 and initially it seemed that Kristen Stewart would have a major role in the movie K-11, directed by her mother Jules Stewart, in the role of Butterfly, a transvestite of 19 years, repeatedly raped in jail and in turn becomes a cruel murderess.
Her many commitments (Snow White and the Huntsman, Breaking Dawn, On the Road) didn't allow her to participate actively in the project, but the actress had not totally abandoned her interest in the film and from her mother we had confirmation from twitter that Kristen will do a micro cameo.
She will be the voice of the secretary of the protagonist (Goran Visnjic), who finds herself locked in the dormitory named little-known K-11, a special section of the prison in Los Angeles where they are imprisoned homosexuals, transvestites, pedophiles, and all the personalities who are a bit 'eccentric.'
The film is now in post production, but not yet scheduled a release date.
